Asics GEL-Kayano 23 Sale Review

Very disappointing. I've never had running shoes wear out like this. This is my first pair of ASICS running shoes. I've had Mizuno, Adidas and K Swiss runners in the past. I actually like the balance between support, comfort and weight with this shoes, but have been very disappointed with how quickly the inner heel lining and padding became big holes in both shoes after only a month or so of use. And not heavy use, either. I run two miles per day, three times per week and walk two miles on the other three or four days per week. All on a treadmill. The inner heel holes are not just a cosmetic annoyance, either. They rub the back of my heels raw, to the point where I developed a large blister on the left and eventually broken skin. I'm trying to get some more life out of the shoes by using sticky heel protectors now, but this is not a problem I should have had after only a month of wear. Indeed, it's only been about six months total that I've had the shoes.
