I just received these shoes, so I can't speak to longevity but the initial impression is strong. The cushioning material is a good balance between responsiveness and comfort. Noticeably less cushy than the Adidas Duarmo 9's I had before, and that's a good thing because those were squishy enough to be unstable. Feel somewhat comparable to the Adidas "bounce" midsole, which I like a lot. I think I like the bounce midsole a slight bit more than this, but Adidas isn't currently making any shoes with that sole that I like.
