Salomon S/LAB SENSE 8

The Salomon S/LAB SENSE 8 is an updated version of the iconic trail running shoe, developed in collaboration with top athletes. It offers the same ground feel, precision, and foothold as its predecessor while being even lighter.

Weighing just 195g, these shoes maintain a minimalist design while retaining key features such as the ground filter and precise foothold. The S/LAB SENSE 8 provides cushioned protection with a rigidified toe cap and arch for added safety and durability. Additionally, there is softer cushioning under the front of the foot to enhance overall comfort during runs.

To keep your feet comfortable and debris-free, these shoes feature a knitted elasticized sock directly integrated into the upper. This helps keep debris out, while the openings in the upper facilitate water evacuation, ensuring your feet stay dry.

The outsole is equipped with Contagrip MA, a high-performance rubber compound that provides confidence on a wide variety of surfaces, including wet, dry, hard, or loose terrain. The Profeel Film in the chassis helps filter out rocks and sharp surfaces for a more comfortable and stable ride.

Other features include a stitch-free welded upper construction for a smooth and glove-like fit, a dual-density midsole that combines foams of two different densities for superior cushioning, stability, and motion control. The EnergyCell foam provides shock attenuation for enhanced performance.

The single-layer mesh close to the foot maximizes the shoe's feel, while the water repellent treatment applied to the upper provides extra protection against light rain and showers. The lace pocket allows for Simple storage of the Quicklace lacing system, and the SensiFit technology cradles the foot, providing a secure and customized fit.
