The high traction rubber lug outsole with push-thru protection enhances grip on all surfaces, which is especially helpful during hikes or other outdoor activities. Additionally, the anti-microbial molded Ortholite sockliner is a nice touch that keeps my feet feeling fresh and clean. The TPU shank at the midfoot provides extra support and stability, which is especially useful during long hikes or walks. At 5" in height, these boots are the perfect mid-height for me.
